MICROWAVE OVEN REPAIR SERVICE
Do not attempt to fix it yourself. But this is a sample of the steps involved.
A capacitor is an electronic device that holds a high level of electrical charge. If you’re going to attempt to fix it on your own, these are some of the steps.
Warning: 1. Please read and follow the instructions on your microwave oven.
2) Never open the back cover of power plug in. 3) Before beginning any repair, you must first turn off the capacitor. After removing the moving parts of the microwave oven, make sure that the power cord has been unplugged. There are two screws on each side, one on each side. These can be easily removed using a regular screwdriver. The back has 4 screws. You may need a star [Torx] wrench. First, open the back cover and check the fuse. You can test it by using a resistor tester. If the fuse resistance value of infinity is displayed, it means that the fuse has failed. If it shows infinity, the fuse is damaged. It is enough to replace the fuse in your microwave oven. The fuse should not be broken if it shows resistance on the meter. Next is to inspect the door switches. There are three switches inside the microwave oven. To take the switch out, push down the pin located beside it. Take each one and inspect them one at a time. Connect the wires to your new switch and place it correctly. Reverse the operation. Close the back cover, insert all screws and then put the moving parts back.
To test, plug in power.
One discharge resistor is included in the circuit. Before beginning any repair, the capacitor should be fully charged.
The capacitor can be found in the lower corner on the back. It is possible to find online instructions on how to charge a capacitor.
